THE RITUAL TABLE

The Ritual Table is a prototype of a tea preparation table that integrates storage, display, and use into one form. Designed with ceremony in mind, it encourages intentional pause while remaining accessible to multiple users at once, inviting shared participation in preparing tea. A dedicated surface on top of the table accommodates a kettle, strainer, and spoon, while jars are suspended within the legs to store loose leaf tea. Two small shelves provide an area to store books, notebooks, or whatever the user desires to have available during their time at the table.

In the refinement stage of this project, I developed a brand identity and accompanying social media moodboard. The visual direction emphasizes a sense of calm and ritual, using a palette of warm browns and soft sage greens to create a feeling of warmth, comfort, and presence.
